Senior Coupon Books for Farmer’s Market to be distributed

August 6, 2019 - Port Jervis, NY - Orange County Legislator Thomas Faggione will be joined by staff from the Orange County Office for the Aging and Port Jervis Councilwoman Lisa Randazzo Thursday, August 8th, 3:00 pm, at Waters Edge 55+ Senior Community to help seniors with coupon books they can use at local farmer’s markets.

The coupon books are part of the New York State Farmer’s Market Nutrition Program. Eligible seniors receive a booklet with Senior (FMNP) checks that can only be used to purchase local, fresh, unprocessed vegetables and fruits at participating farmers markets and farm stands.
